Indana Mata Rani is said to be powerful in curing paralysis. This is why worshippers from all across the country gather to seek goddess graces. Every month, the goddess takes a bath in self-awakened fire, which destroys all the clothing, threads, and coconuts brought to her. Several tridents draw followers to this deity.

After Devi’s request is granted, tridents are presented to her. It is also customary to present a Swing (Jhula) with the birth of a boy. Similarly, if a paralyzed patient is cured, he or she must present silver or wood organs to the temple.

Ghata Wali Chamunda Devi temple is situated near Highway in Debari, Udaipur. Built by Maharana, this temple was built to protect Udaipur from Mughal invaders. When Mewari troops asked the goddess to protect them, it was reported that a swarm of honey bees appeared from the Maa statues and assisted the soldiers. She has been regarded as the guardian ever since.
